WELCOME TO OUR CHURCH
Spirit of Truth is a pastor-led, house church community with elders overseeing each home congregation. We are dedicated to expository preaching of the Word and mutual fellowship of the Saints. We believe there is a fundamental shift happening in our culture that is drawing people from every nation to receive the truth that comes from Jesus Christ and Scripture alone.
BIBLICAL
DISCIPLESHIP
Each week, members can expect to hear expository preaching through the current book of the Bible, verse by verse, ending with an open discussion by the congregation. Each week, we offer a live online apologetics class or theology class, covering all topics in systematic theology. We describe our theology as soteriologically Calvinist and Dispensational. Through community involvement in these groups, our members are prepared to evangelize and disciple people in their communities.
HOME CONGREGATIONS
Our church is organized around elders overseeing home congregations in their communities. This allows members to form relationships with each other and their elders from the moment they join. Additionally, home congregations allow for easier community outreach and greater participation in all activities.
BULWARK AGAINST SECULAR CULTURE
We take a firm and resolute stand against the culture of the day. We denounce and teach against the woke agenda of our age. We uphold and affirm the biblical understanding of men, women, and sexuality. We uphold the full personhood of the unborn child. We denounce false views of the gospel such as the prosperity gospel or the self-help gospel and uphold the view that the gospel is the penal substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross as payment for our sin.
